So glad to get your information. I have 4 semesters . But our school system does not allow me to take AP courses. I am not sure if I can change in the following semesters. At the very beginning, my counselor even said I could not take honor courses. But after I insisted saying the courses were too easy for me, she let me changed to pre-cal and honor physics. Any way, I will do my best to try for it.

I had 4 classes a day and 4 semesters a year which is different from most schools in US(I suppose). Because the school had a different schedule called Block Schedule. And for me, I got a credit for every course that I passed within the semester. I think it is the same in most schools that you will get a credit for every course that you pass. I suppose you have 2 semester a year, don’t you? And yeah, I’m 99% sure that you can change your classes and schedule for the next semester as long as the class you want to take is available. But it’s better for you to ask your counselor to make sure!
I had Pre-Calc and Honor Physics too for the first 2 semester (half a school year). Those stuff are easy compare to what you were studying back in China, right? And I suggest you to take more AP classes like AP Calculus, AP Physics, AP Chemistry and etc. They are helpful when you apply to colleges! I took AP-Calc and AP-Biology, it turned out that I did perfect on AP-Calc but terrible on AP-Biology.
