Thanks!
You know, I guess during your foreign exchange year you’ll feel that you’re so much better than some people around you (since you are going to a public school). And I think it will be easy for you to find another private high school and get enrolled. Just because Chinese students always qualify a good impression (at least in academic). But if you are saying that because you just have a year left so that they won’t enroll you, I don’t really know how it works..
BTW, I guess I have you on MSN now.
Keep in touch,
Wei
Congratulations! You are great! I really admire you. But should all the colleges in US enroll a student with a diploma? If you finish high school in China, means you should spend one more year than other students, right?
I will be a 11th grader in a public high school, I want to continue my study for the next year in US, but I am afraid I can’t find a school to accept a 12th grader in US.
Thank you very much for your comments. By the way, I added you on MSN weeks ago, have you got it?
Hope to keep in touch with you.
Sincerely,
Daisy
Hi,
The life here is great, how is it going over there? My plan is to finish high school in China, and then apply for college in US. Yesterday was my graduation day. And I just received an honorary diploma from my school yesterday. But it is not the diploma that others got which means that colleges won’t enroll me with this diploma. But, it really depends. I’m was senior(well, since i graduated) was because that my school district enroll all the foreign student as seniors. But not every school has the same policy. Do you know what grade will you be in next school year?
And about the visa, due to you are applying for J-1 visa, it will be pretty easy, just answer some questions, and that’s it.
Foreign exchange program can provide you a good opportunity to enjoy a real American life!
By the way, it’s better for you to learn some American slang before you get here. Get a facebook or myspace(and add me, lol)! Try to adjust the environment before you get here!
Best wishes,
Wei
Hi,
How are u? Did you apply for university in US? Will Bryan High provide you the diploma? I will go to East Bay High School in Tampa, FL, but not meet the visa officer yet.
Sincerely,
Daisy
